Skirt

Attaching the skirt is done with Stainless steel pan head screws. You fold over the cut edge toward the craft then screw into the wood. Make sure you adjust the skirt as you go to avoid ripples in the skirt. After attaching the inside of the skirt, I set the craft on 8" building blocks. Actual height 7.5". set on nice level surface. Then screw in the front, rear corners, then keep halving the distance between the screws. As you do it keep the skirt hanging even. screws should end up about 3 to 4"s apart.
I attached the skirt at the bow and the two rear inside corners first. You fold over the skirt and go through two layers of material. The inside is rolled toward you, and the outside attach is done toward the craft...It looks better and I believe it hold the air better.
You attach the skirt with the craft on level ground and sitting on top of 8" building blocks. Again attach the skirt at the tip and the two back corners and keep halving the distance making sure the skirt does not get wrinkled. It should hang evenly all around except the front 18" or so. That part will taper up slightly.
