Thrust Duct Construction

Make sure you use a line that will not stretch or move when laying out the foam for your duct.

One of the hardest parts of building the craft is wrapping the foam around the 1/8" ply.  I had two friends help.  I used 3 ratchet straps to hold it in place until the epoxy cured.

Here I show the cut I made in the foam before it is spray-foam attached to the deck.

I had completely forgotten to attach the elevator supports.  All I had to do was cut out a slot, shape a 2x2 to fit, then shape with a grinder.  Wow Repairing this will be easy!
